Drift Labs creates science-informed guides and hand-curated Spotify playlists for people who take sleep seriously.
Our Story
Most sleep music is either pseudoscience dressed up in binaural beats marketing, or generic YouTube compilations with no real curation behind them. We started Drift Labs to do both things honestly — create music that genuinely helps people sleep, explain the science clearly, and build playlists worth listening to.
We write and produce our own ambient and sleep music in-house. Every track is crafted with a specific sleep outcome in mind: falling asleep faster, staying in deep sleep longer, or unwinding after a hard day. No jarring transitions, no ads, no interruptions.
Our music is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms. Pair any guide on this site with the playlist it recommends — and you're listening to something we made for exactly that purpose.

Jordan Calloway
Noise & Nature Sounds
Jordan has spent years chasing the sounds that make sleep feel effortless — rain on a tent, wind through tall grass, the deep rumble of ocean surf. At Drift Labs, he researches the science behind noise colors and curates nature soundscapes for the playlists. When he's not writing, he's recording field audio somewhere with bad phone signal.

Marcus Webb
Binaural Beats & Sleep Science
Marcus came to sleep music through an obsession with how sound physically changes the brain. He writes about binaural beats, brainwave entrainment, and the research behind what actually works when you're lying awake at 2 AM. He believes better sleep is less about discipline and more about finding the right sonic environment.

Ashley Brennan
Baby & Kids Sleep
Ashley writes about sleep for the tiniest listeners — and the exhausted parents next to them. She covers everything from white noise machines to lullaby science, always with an eye on what's gentle, safe, and actually effective. Her guides are built for real families, not sleep-lab abstractions.
