Drift Labs creates science-informed guides and hand-curated Spotify playlists for people who take sleep seriously.

Our Story

Sleep music has a problem.

Most sleep music is either pseudoscience dressed up in binaural beats marketing, or generic YouTube compilations with no real curation behind them. We started Drift Labs to do both things honestly — create music that genuinely helps people sleep, explain the science clearly, and build playlists worth listening to.

We write and produce our own ambient and sleep music in-house. Every track is crafted with a specific sleep outcome in mind: falling asleep faster, staying in deep sleep longer, or unwinding after a hard day. No jarring transitions, no ads, no interruptions.

At Drift Labs, he researches the science behind noise colors and curates nature soundscapes for the playlists. When he's not writing, he's recording field audio somewhere with bad phone signal.

Marcus came to sleep music through an obsession with how sound physically changes the brain.
